HUAC Free Soccer Clinic Coming up!

Hellenic United Athletic Club and its Academies Program, GFD Chicago, will be hosting a free soccer clinic to all aspiring young soccer youth between the ages of 4 and 12 years old on December 6, 2009 at the Odeum Expo Center.

The clinic will be delivered by our experienced qualified coaching staff with the objectives to teach essential skills and aptitudes that allow young players a lifelong enjoyment of soccer. We have planned a great program where the children can participate and enjoy a few hours of soccer.  We are very excited to deliver this unique soccer clinic to the community for the second time this year and we encourage you to let your kids’ friends know as well.

HUAC O30 "Blue" team sweeps N.S.L. awards

After a dream season in which the Hellenic United O30 "A" team took the National Soccer League (N.S.L.) Over-30 championship, head coach Spiro Arsenis was named N.S.L. "Coach of the Year".

This season Arsenis guided Hellenic United to a 14-5 record and a N.S.L. Over-30 championship title.

But the awards do not stop there.

Hellenic United's very own Milan Tica on FSC

Hellenic United's very own Milan Tica will be playing in the Yale v Princeton match-up featured on Fox Soccer Channel tonight (November 13th, 2009) at 8:00PM EST/5:00PM Pacific.

Milan played with us over the summer in a couple of tournaments, including the Illinois State Cup Final. He's a wonderful young man and a very good left back, to boot. You won't be able to miss him-he should be the tallest player on the pitch at 6'5". Hellenic United coach Andy Sotiropoulos talked to his father last night, who's obviously very excited.
